Kevlar/fiberglass hybrid mat - appropriately enough a 'sandwich' construction for the shell. The final version will probably also include a carbon-fiber layer. |
| Prototype shell - this has yet to be painted, because we still need to make a master mould from it. This one was cast from a painstakingly hand-built wooden mould, which, sadly, didn't survive the heat of curing, and the removal of the shell. | ![]() |
